New York's Hidden Subway Station

On October 16th, Starbucks will change it's gold card reward program.  They will no longer offer free soy or syrup for gold card members.  For people like me, who are lactose intolerant, it defeats the whole purpose of maintaining gold card status.  If you are a Starbucks customer and think this is a bad move on their part, please let them know.  Post on their customer forums now.

Windows 8 Consumer Preview

After playing with the Consumer Preview for a couple weeks now, I have come to the following opinion:
The metro interface looks like it will work well for phone and tablet. However, they had better improve the non-metro interface part. For desktop users, it's a mess.
